Micro Coil Winder
This coil winder will easily meet the needs of most device manufacturers in the production of extremely small coils. The small footprint and ease of operation makes this an attractive, cost effective alternative to other winders on the market.
This winder controls all winding parameters down to a very precise level. Coil parameters include: Mandrel diameter, wire diameter, mandrel tension, wire tension, wind angle, wind speed, pitch and pitch variation. Of these, the operator decides the mandrel and wire size and then sets the rest with machine controls. All of the variable parameters can be controlled, and all but the mandrel tension is programmable.
The tensioning method relies on a technology that incorporates two independent servo loops, one to control slack and another to control tension. The technology involves extremely precise balancing of the dancer and a proprietary means of making the wire tension relatively insensitive to the dancer position.
The Micro Coil Winder also features programmable pitch control that can step from one pitch to another along the entire length of a wind. It is simply a matter of programming to get more pitches, and even ramp the pitch along a given length.
