Tube Trimmer
This machine trims polyester heat shrink tubing from the ends of stainless steel tubes. The tubes vary in diameter and length. The tubing is 0.003" (.076mm) thick.
Used in the fabrication of medical instruments.
Operator protection; the lid activates the operation. The cutting blade is housed in such a way as to not expose the operator to being cut. Cuts both ends of the tube simultaneously. Small portable system (10" x 11" x 8.5").
This machine is used to produce minimally invasive surgical instruments. The tube trimmer automated a labor-intensive process greatly improving overall quality and yield for the instrument manufacturer.
